LOOTED VASE
Looted vase is a series that stemmed from my desire the reach inside the glass vitrine.
To have the artefact in my hands. To feel the history of an object that’s been flattened and removed from its making.
I often wonder how these artefacts ended up in these colonial cases and the lives they’ve lived.
So I scan them print them pocket size take them back from the museum and re-interpret them for myself.
